NZ mapping activity
Our class split into groups of 3 to 4. We had to draw pictures that represented cities around NZ. Things like L&P for Paeroa or the steepest street in the world in Dunedin. Then we had to colour it in and do borders. These pictures are the most important things to us around New Zealand.
Our superheroes
In room one we have been doing superheroes! First we had to get into groups which Mrs White decided. Then in our groups we had to think of a superhero each. So for example someone chose Wolverine's arms and Stewie Griffen's head, so everyone had a part to do. After that we had to draw our part of the superhero. Next we had to write what superhero we had chosen and what part of the body we drew. Then we had to colour our parts in completely. These are some of the completed superheroes.
Basketball skills
We have been learning basketball skills from Michael Fitchett who is a Giant and a Tall Black. Many of our children want to play miniball next term.
